Eve was found hiding beneath a parked car with a badly injured eye and no one coming to help her.
Eve was discovered curled up beneath a parked car, suffering from a serious wound to one of her eyes. There was no one looking after her and no way of knowing how long she had been living with the injury. She needed veterinary care, and Empathy Unlimited took her in.
The damage to Eve’s eye was too extensive to repair, and ultimately it had to be removed. What could have been the end of her story instead became the beginning of a much better one. Once she was no longer living with the pain of her injury, Eve could finally settle in, recover, and adjust remarkably well to life with one eye.
Eve has come a long way from the little dog hiding underneath that car. Today she is healthy, comfortable, and very much at home with the people and dogs around her. She may only have one eye, but Eve doesn’t seem particularly concerned about that. She has a life to enjoy now.
