Rescued on October 11, 2024, from the Metrol Mall area of Kalyan East, Guru was found in heartbreaking condition. He was suffering from severe maggot wounds and battling kidney failure, barely holding on.

But Guru didn’t give up. With immediate medical care and a dedicated treatment plan from Empathy Unlimited, he began the slow, difficult process of healing. Day by day, he kept fighting, showing a quiet determination that carried him through the worst of it.
