Jack was rescued on December 16, 2021, after a devastating hit-and-run left him paralyzed. Part of his body no longer responds, and one of his legs required amputation.

Today, Jack is one of the shelter’s most beloved dogs. His happy, easygoing personality and love of company make him a favorite. You’ll usually find him playing with his friends in his chair, right in the middle of everything, exactly where he wants to be.

No treatment can reverse his condition, but Jack has adapted in the most incredible way. Jack doesn’t focus on what’s behind him. His wheelchair gives him comfort, mobility, and a new rhythm to his daily life. He simply enjoys each day as it comes — playing, connecting, and bringing joy to everyone around him.
