Rocky was found alone in Jomsom, Nepal, cold, wet, and curled up in a doorway. She was trying to get out of the weather with nowhere safe to go. It was clear she needed help, and leaving her behind was not an option. Rocky was brought down from the mountains to Chandani Animal Rescue and Care Center in Pokhara, where she finally had food, warmth, and people looking out for her.

Once Rocky settled in, a very different little dog started to emerge. She made herself at home, found friends among the other rescued animals, including Fisti and Spot, and quickly became part of life at the shelter. The scared little dog from that doorway began to relax, play, and enjoy being spoiled by the people around her.

Today, Rocky is happy, safe, and very clearly enjoying her new life. Her story is a reminder of how quickly things can change when an animal in trouble reaches the right people at the right time. Rocky now has a place where she belongs, friends to play with, and plenty of attention, exactly the kind of ending we hoped for when we first found her in Jomsom.
