Founded and led by Aditi Parameshwaran, Empathy Unlimited is an animal welfare organization based in Dombivli, India that operates at both the ground level and the systems level of animal protection.

At its core, EU rescues and rehabilitates injured and sick community animals from across Thane District, as well as Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. The organization runs a dedicated rehabilitation center for animals who can recover and return to their communities, alongside a sanctuary that is home to more than 440 permanent residents, including disabled, elderly, abandoned, and dependent animals. Empathy Unlimited is supported by a trained, full-time team of over 30 caregivers, each committed to meeting animals where they are and providing care based on need, not convenience.

What sets Empathy Unlimited apart is its refusal to reduce rescue work to intake alone. Under Aditi’s leadership, the organization has built a model rooted in quality, consistency, and long-term responsibility. Rescued animals receive treatment from senior veterinarians and specialists, and EU actively vaccinates and sterilizes community animals to reduce suffering at scale.
